SUPPORT BUILT AROUND YOUR FAMILY

What is Kiddo Connections?

Who We Are

Kiddo Connections helps parents connect the dots between their child’s diagnosis and an individualized plan to calm the stress and overwhelm so they can confidently support their child’s growth and thrive together.

Mission Statement: Our mission is to connect families with the knowledge, resources, and strategies they need to help their children reach their fullest potential. Through collaboration, education, and personalized support, we empower parents to navigate each stage of their child’s development with confidence.

Who We Help

We help families with newly diagnosed children, overwhelmed parents, caregivers, grandparents, foster parents, teachers, educators, nurses, nannies (anyone who plays a pivotal role in your child’s life) understand sensory behavior, and developmental challenges so children can succeed at home, in school and in the community.

Families with children diagnosed with:

Developmental Disorders Autism Spectrum Disorder Down Syndrome ADHD/ADD Intellectual Disability Sensory processing challenges

Families looking for practical strategies to support their child’s success at home, school and in the community.

Start with a 60-minute consultation to discuss concerns, strengths, routines, and the goals that matter most.

Consistency Across Environments

A child may cope well during a therapy session yet struggle at home or school. Parent coaching helps bridge this gap. When strategies are used consistently across different settings, children are more likely to build and maintain skills over time.

Alexia Alter, MS, OTR/L
Founder of Kiddo Connections

HI, I’M ALEXIA

Every child deserves to feel understood, supported, and celebrated.

I’ve worked with children and families across day camps, preschools, elementary schools, homes, communities, and pediatric therapy settings. Again and again, I saw parents leave appointments with more questions than answers.

I created Kiddo Connections to help families connect the dots—to better understand their child, celebrate their strengths, and build the confidence to help them thrive.

YOUR FAMILY DOES NOT HAVE TO FIGURE IT OUT ALONE

Let’s connect the dots, together.

Begin with a conversation about what is happening now, what matters most, and what support could make everyday life feel more manageable.
